Email Action - Auto save

The introduction of Auto Save on the request Update action and posts has been a great help and saving of time (as well as frustration ).

Can this be extended to the Email Action, as I often find myself losing the partially typed emails, as I have had to refer to an email on the timeline and forgot to open it in a new tab when clicking on the 'View Email' option.

Is there any update on having the auto save operation on the new email preview window or even just a warning before leaving the page to confirm that you will lose your change?

Just to add, this used to work, in that if entering text into the email / comment window and moving away elsewhere, when returning to that point the text was still there.

There is no planned change for this that I'm aware of.

This is quite a frequent issue raised by our users, since the move the new email preview editor. Even if there was warning about losing you work when leaving the screen, this would help.

The alternative is to revert to the old email action which did remember you work.
