Auto populate a custom field in request details section

Hello, 

 

Is it at all possible to populate a customer field in the details section of a ticket with the outcome of a custom task. For example we have a peer review task would it be possible to populate a field with the person who actioned said task

Hi @gwynne,

You can use the Variable Picker option to update details of a Request from the outcome of a task.

Take a look at the example below where I've used Requests > Update Request > Details Automated Task to append to the summary of a Request. The Variable Picker is a button that can be found on the right of a field.

I can also update Custom Fields in a Request using Requests > Update Request > Custom Fields Automated Task.

Once again, I can use the Variable Picker to update a field with any detail about a task.
