Custom Field Value Changing Mid-Process

I have a custom field (Q) pulled through into request details for requests in the 'TEST I Want to Recruit' service called 'Appointment Type'.  The entry will either be External Appointment or Internal Appointment as this field is captured via a static drop down in the PC 'HRA I Want to Appoint v4.0'.  In the 'TEST HRA I Want to Appoint - REVISED 190618' BP this pulls through as it should, displaying External Appointment but after the  'Confirm Appointment Type' human task is completed (the 2nd human task in the process) it automatically changes the custom field value to ExternalExternal and I can't fathom way.  See SR00043241.

Can someone take a look please?
