Victor Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Hello all Because is that time of the year when ADFS and Azure certificates are renewing, you might encounter an issue when logging into Hornbill. The message presented in Hornbill is this: The public certificate used for signing the assertion is not known to the service provider. This is because the Hornbill SSO profile is using a certificate that is no longer valid because it was changed by the automatic renewal mechanism in your IdP. There is a quick and easy fix for this described in the "Troubleshooting/Common Issues" section in our SSO wiki page: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_Single_Sign_On
Victor Posted February 25, 2019 Author Posted February 25, 2019 Time to bring this up again since some customers have the renewal configured for this time of year.
Ann-MarieHolloway Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Hi @Victor Is it that time of year again? We appear to be receiving calls from analysts and customers about single sign-on. Many Thanks
Victor Posted September 22, 2020 Author Posted September 22, 2020 @Ann-MarieHolloway could be ... but it really depends on what the issue is... but probably on this occasion is this:
Ann-MarieHolloway Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Hi @Victor the majority of users have received your screenshot message and signed in successfully. Some users receive an 'Oops' message stating invalid user credentials. It turns out a clear of cookies and internet files and a quick restart appears to resolve the issue. 1
Michael Sharp Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 This is happening for us today (but not for me) - certificates seem fine???
Michael Sharp Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Also our other ADFS reliant applications are fine
Keith Stevenson Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Micheal, Can you confirm that this is no longer an issue. There was a new version of the front end this morning, but we have since rolled back. Kind Regards Keith Stevenson 1
Everton1878 Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 We had the same issue this morning but it is ok again now :)
