Darren Rose Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Would it be possible to add a section for links / external URLS, possibly as an option next to attachments? We currently use online resources such as onedrive, or sharepoint locaitons for our Project Document Management, so being able to add links to the project folder on sharepoint from the Project would be a great addition for streamlining our project workflow 3
AlexTumber Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 @Darren Rose thanks for your post. I will feed this back to our product team. Alex
Nikolaj Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 + 1 on this feature too. Would it be possible to add a section for links / external URLS, possibly as an option next to attachments? Steven Boardman Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 @Nikolaj @Darren Rose we'll take a look at the extra section as suggested. In the meantime you can use the wiki markup in the description field in the project details to hold those links: Just a workaround but may help short term Wiki: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Wiki_Markup Steve 1
Darren Rose Posted June 13, 2018 Author Posted June 13, 2018 Thanks for the tip @Steven Boardman Is the description field still character limited?
Steven Boardman Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 @Darren Rose the description field was changed to a TEXT field so i don't believe there is a limit - @alextumber can you confirm?
AlexTumber Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 @Darren Rose @Steven Boardman it's a TEXT field in the database and there is a 10,000 character limit on the field in the UI. Alex
Steven Boardman Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Thanks @alextumber 10,000 seems a little better than the previous limit 2
