JBasey Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Hi All, would it be possible to add a "last month" option to the "raised on" and "resolved on" options within the service manager dashboard: This is the bit i mean: This would really save me some time when doing quick performance reporting. Thanks James
Guest Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 @JBasey When you specify last 30 days, it translates that to last month but we also added a provision for February 28 days and 31 day months so we created last x days so that if a month is not 30 days long, you specify what value it is. I do see your point and will consult internally. Thanks Pamela
JBasey Posted June 4, 2018 Author Posted June 4, 2018 Hi @Pamela Im not sure if i'm following you For example, if i ran a "last 30 days" report today on the 4th of June, would it give me: a: 01 May to 31 May (Previous calendar month) b: 05 May to 04 June (last 30 days from the data the dash report is run) What i'm after is something that always returns the previous calendar month, not the last 30 days. Thanks James
Guest Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 @JBasey @Kelvin Do you get anything close to the actual results if you set up a view such as the one I have attached. I tend to use the After and Before key words. Specify after 1st May and before 1st June. Does that help you get anywhere closer to where you need to be? Thanks Pamela
Kelvin Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 @Pamela Not really we are already doing it this way but in the future we could end up with close to 50 views and the time to edit each one would lose its appeal.
James Ainsworth Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Hi @JBasey I have added a change to our backlog for this requirement. I will update this post once it is closer to being available. Regards, James
James Ainsworth Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 A change to add options for Previous Month and Current Month have been completed and is now available in the Live environment. These options have been added to a number of date fields including Raised On and Resolved On. Regards, James
