Stuart Torres-Catmur Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Hi From today, user EO'Hara cannot see any services on our Self Service portal She has previously had no problems accessing services on the portal. Was able to log self service request yesterday. Issue started today. The same whether using IE11 or Chrome We updated Service Manager to Build 1221 this morning. I can't see any issues with her account. I wouldn't personally include an apostrophe in a username, but this hasn't caused an issue for her with Service Manager before.
Steve Giller Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 After applying the update my customer with this issue resolved it with a CTRL+F5 refresh of the browser.
Steven Boardman Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 @Stuart Torres-Catmur this issue has been resolved in the latest Service Manager update as @DeadMeatGF suggested.
Stuart Torres-Catmur Posted May 3, 2018 Author Posted May 3, 2018 @Steven Boardman Thanks for responding so quickly to this. We'll get build 1223 put in later today.
Stuart Torres-Catmur Posted May 9, 2018 Author Posted May 9, 2018 @Steven Boardman User EO'Hara still can't access services on the Self Service Portal. We updated Service Manager last week to build 1228, which I assumed included the 1223 fix for this issue?
James Ainsworth Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 @Stuart Torres-Catmur 1228 will have included the fix which was provided in 1223. While this shouldn't be the case, I wonder if the browser's cache needs to be cleared as mentioned in DeadMeatGF's post above.
Stuart Torres-Catmur Posted May 10, 2018 Author Posted May 10, 2018 @James Ainsworth Funny you mention that. The customer has just responded to say it's working now. Maybe browser cache cleared after a certain period and caught up with that one. We've got no other reported incidents of this so consider this one resolved. Thanks
James Ainsworth Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 That's great news @Stuart Torres-Catmur. Thanks for letting us know. James
