Automatic Backups

Hi,

One of our analysts keeps getting the notification about automatic backups. 

He has selected 'Yes', 'No' and tried going into his profile to turn it off but there doesn't appear to be the option.

 

 

(Also Computer is spelt incorrectly) 

Any ideas? He is getting rather frustrated. Looking, I don't have the option either...

Hi @Dan Munns,

The option in the profile "Is my personal computer" is the one to turn it ON and OFF. The label is wrong and we will correct this.

Can you ask your colleague what browser is he using? The other possible reason could be that he is using the browser in Incognito Mode. That mode starts the browser without cookies nor data storage, where we are saving this setting.

@Lyonel When you refresh the page (f5) do you get it every time in IE11? In what cases do you get the prompt?

No just everytime I clear my temporary files, cache, cookies, etc. on IE @Daniel Dekel

@Lyonel, then in that case it will because the backups are stored in the Local Storage of the browser. In the IE it appears as "Website Data".
