SJEaton Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Hi We capture a date/time in a ProCap (question/custom field) and want to place the request on hold until 1 day (24hours) before this date/time. I know we can use an auto-task to place the request on hold and select the relevant question via the variable picker against the 'on hold until' option but is there a flowcode we can use that will indicate 1 day before this date? Sam
Steven Boardman Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 @SJEaton there isn't anything i can think of here i'm afraid. I've asked the developers if there is an option to maybe add a new utility option in the iBridge (kind of like some of the existing ones below) which could offer this, awaiting feedback and will post back here Steve
Steven Boardman Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 @SJEaton we now have a story to provide this capability however it is not currently scheduled, but as it progresses we will post back here. Another change which will be coming out shortly is the ability to set reminders for business process tasks based on their due dates (like you can with manually created tasks). So one option you will have open to you will be to create a task with a due date based on a variable which could be the '''on hold until''' date and time and then when the new reminder feature is available you will be able to set a reminder 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 day etc before this date which you will get a notification for Keep an eye out for the release notes in the admin console for the business process task reminders and i'll update as the other story progresses Steve
SJEaton Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 Hi @Steven Boardman, ooh this looks interesting. Thanks for the update Sam
Steven Boardman Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 @SJEaton just to close off on this thread, we have now added a new option to the iBridge Utilities: Get Timestamp This option allows you to specify a starting timestamp - say an existing date or a date held in a custom field or progressive capture answer and then calculate out a new date based on this date - so for example a day before the original date, 20 days before or even the same options after this date. The output from this node will be the new timestamp - which in your example could then be used to place a request on hold until. Configuration: Use the calculated output parameter in other nodes, include place on hold until Hope this helps Steve
