m.vandun Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Hi, Just got a few requests where I logged the time in an activity. When I then got to the next activity (in the same request) when I then finish this one without selecting any time spent the same time is logged as in the first activity Example: SR00010027 Kind regards, Mark
Daniel Dekel Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 @m.vandun, perhaps is using the auto calculate? Does the activity has a Start and End date? Could be related to this feature described in this forum post: Kind regards, Daniel.
m.vandun Posted December 19, 2017 Author Posted December 19, 2017 @Daniel Dekel The activity only has an end date.
Daniel Dekel Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 @m.vandun, can you please describe in more details how to replicate this? You open one particular request in Service Manager and it has multiple Activities? Is that the case? What do you do then? Thanks, Daniel.
m.vandun Posted December 19, 2017 Author Posted December 19, 2017 @Daniel Dekel Correct. It is a request where another activity is created based upon completion of an activity (via BPM). When you fill in the time spent on the first activity (i.e. 6 minutes) the activity after this is completed with the same time. In the second activity I did not fill in any time spent (left this blank/default). I did not check what happens when you have a third activity and complete this one. 2 activities are closed, I only filled in the time in the first one.
Daniel Dekel Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 @m.vandun, I am still unable to replicate this. I've shared a video showing how I try to replicate. Let me know if I'm missing something. The two Activities are created by the BPM. Thanks, Daniel. 11873-time-double-logged-1.mp4
m.vandun Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 @Daniel Dekel The only difference in steps i take is that I fill the time manual via the timer, not the dropdown.
Daniel Dekel Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 @m.vandun, I still can't replicate, even when I fill the timer rather than the Time Spent field. Can you replicate this every time or it was a one time off? I'll keep on trying. Daniel.
m.vandun Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 @Daniel Dekel I get this every time. 2017-12-20 12-11-48.mp4
Daniel Dekel Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 @m.vandun, thanks for the video. Still can't replicate. I'll need to do some investigation. Thanks, Daniel
Daniel Dekel Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 @m.vandun, can you please tell me what build of Timesheet Manager you are using? You can check that in the About Screen. Thanks, Daniel
Daniel Dekel Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Hi @m.vandun, I am still unable to replicate this problem but without luck. I wonder if you still have this issue and if you have a clue on how to replicate? Do you use the Timesheet Manager in any other place? doe sit happen also there? Thank you, Daniel
m.vandun Posted January 31, 2018 Author Posted January 31, 2018 @Daniel Dekel We still have this issue. I just got it with SR00011050. We only use Timesheet for the requests. Mark
Daniel Dekel Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 @m.vandun Do mean mean that you only have this with one single request (SR00011050)? The rest of the requests are OK? Daniel.
m.vandun Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 @Daniel Dekel This was the last request I checked. I did not check any other requests. Mark
