alecwa
Hi, Within Progressive Capture for Change there is a "Change Type" form where you can add Emergency, Standard, Planned etc. but when you look at doing the same for Release there isn't one. Is this something that is being fixed at the minute?
ArmandoDM
Hi @alecwa the Change Type form was originally added only for Change Requests, not other type of requests. I will check if there is any change scheduled for adding this form for other request types and get back to you Regards Armando
alecwa
Thanks @ArmandoDM - This is required to implement different types of Release just like change. IE. Planned Release and Emergency Release etc.
ArmandoDM
Hi @alecwa we have a change in the backlog to introduce a Release Type for Release Requests. The change will be available in one of the next versions of Service Manager. Regards Armando
Steven Boardman
@alecwa Just an update to this we have added a new Simple list to control the Release Types so in the next Service Manager update due in a couple of weeks you will have the option in Progressive Capture to choose from this list, and in the Business Process to set the Release type from this list. Hope this helps Steve
