Victor Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 @all We are still working to have this issue fixed. Rough ETA to have everything back up an running is 20 min now. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Gary@ADL Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 our email is not sending from hornbill? looks to have been for the last 2 hours or so? is this related? thanks
Victor Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 @Gary@ADL I am not sure, I will have a look once the performance/connectivity issue is fixed...
Stuart Torres-Catmur Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Hi Victor Just confirming we've also been experiencing the same issues. We'll sit tight until we get an update confirming fix has been completed. Thanks
Shamaila.Yousaf Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 We're now back up & running our end.
Lyonel Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Just for the sake of it, having the same issue here
Victor Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 @all The issue is that one of our infrastructure resources is heavily under load. This is causing the exact symptoms you experience: slowness, the timeouts, etc.. We are working on the clock to free up this resource but is taking a but I'm afraid. I don't have any more updates at this point but it might be the case it will take a bit longer than our original estimate to restore the full service. As I understand at this point it will take roughly 20-25 more min to have this sorted. Once again apologies for inconveniences caused. 2 1
Guest Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 As well as this (and just in case it's related) we're also seeing that emails are being picked up from the only configured pop3 box we have for this but then not getting to the Service Manager inbox, presumably because of the timeouts.
Victor Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 @all We estimate to restore full functionality of the service in the next 10 minutes
Victor Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 @all This issue has now been resolved and all services should be now functioning as normal. We are conducting an investigation to identify the root cause of this issue as well as the impact it caused across all instances. Once we determine this we will update this thread further. Thank you for your patience and once again please accept our apologies for all the inconveniences caused.@james.edwards @Gary@ADL please let us know if the email issue still persists to establish if it was caused by this or is something else we need to look at 1
Keith Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Thanks for keep us all posted @Victor. Very happy to hear this is now resolved.
Stuart Torres-Catmur Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Hi Victor We're back on line here. It's running a bit slow, but not crashing. I'm guessing there may be some catch-up work the server is doing that accounts for this.
