Additional Function on Gant Chart

When using the Gant Chart View, would it be possible to add a link to the task, so that it would be easier to open the task (name) and edit it, whilst using this view? 

i.e. Clicking on exection task 1, I could then amend the start date / end dates etc,,,

Thanks for your post.  Most definitely.  That sounds like something that should be there.  I'll get this raised as a requirement and give you an update once we progress this.
