Lyonel Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 When creating a project plan, adding tasks can become very cumbersome (even with project templates in place)... For instance, I am currently working on a project that has 162 tasks (which 40 are from a template). It is a massive project but then again, that's what we do Would it be possible to have some sort of "Excel" upload (or anything else you can think of) that would allow a project manager to quickly upload a long list of tasks? I do realise the many challenges involved around such feature... just asking! 1
AlexTumber Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 @Lyonel thanks for your post. I can definitely see the value here. I'll feed this back to our dev team. Alex
Darren Rose Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 + 1, we would definitely find this useful. It would be good to be able to bulk the projects, not necessarily all the tasks, to enable a transition from our current spreadsheet hell, to getting them registered on Project Manager
JJF100296 Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Hi all, Just wondering if such feature has been implemented yet? Currently looking at doing a similar thing with around 200 records in an excel spreadsheet, would save loads of time if there was a way to upload it?
AlexTumber Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 @JJF100296 thanks for your post. This is definitely a feature that we are interested in providing for Project Manager but it is not something that our development team are actively working on at the moment. I will post back here as and when that changes. Alex
Jeremy Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 +1 for this feature also we would use this for scheduling our AV room checks. 2
AlexTumber Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 @Jeremy thanks for your post. All feedback (both good and bad) is most welcome. Alex
