Lightsource Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 We have just setup our instance and have loads of test tickets that we just want to delete. is there an easy way to select all and delete?
Hornbill Staff DR Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Hi Lightsource thanks for your post! Clearing down test tickets can be done using the "Hornbill Clean Utility". All the details can be found here: https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Hornbill_Clean_Utility . If you have any queries about using it, please don't hesitate to post them here. This will clear down all tickets, or target the deletion based on request type (i.e. incident, service request, problem, etc.) Dan
Trevor Tinsley Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Good afternoon all, I have a requirement to delete closed tickets in accordance with our records retention policy in our production environment. In the absence of anything else, would the Hornbill Clean Utility be a suitable tool? Does the example conf.json file support the dryrun=true option (I would like some assurance prior to running the utility against the live instance)? Any thoughts, advice or feedback would be appreciated. Trevor Tinsley.

(deleting requests and associated data for requests within a certain date range)
