Update linked requests from any action

What do you think?

  1. 1. What do you think of this idea?

    • Yes

    • No, but understand the need for others to have it (I would have it turned off)

I might be going bonkers - is it possible to update any linked requests using ANY of the actions against a single request?

For example - if i'm updating one request, i would like to be able to also update the linked requested using the same details (with it being obvious on the Linked Requests timeline where it came from)?

I would like to be able to do this for the following with the option to mimic the action across ALL or selected Linked Requests:

  1. Putting linked requests on hold from a request
  2. Updating linked requests from a request
  3. Attaching files to linked requests (on selection) from a request
  4. Re-assigning linked requests from a request
  5. And so forth - for all the actions.

Hi @samwoo

You can update and resolve Requests in bulk, through the Requests List.

You can also resolve or close linked Requests through the resolution tab in a Request.

The other enhancements that you've referred to are currently not available. These enhancement requests are not in the 90-development board at this moment in time but I will speak to the team to register your interest :)

Hi @samwoo

I agree this functionality would be useful, the Actions button does allow for some of this  (Update and Resolve) - thanks @Ehsan

I've been looking for a way of emailing multiple tickets which I hope will be available soon.

Hi  @Ehsan, @samwoo

To add to the above - we would also like to assign the priority in bulk

Most of these requirements come about after a major incident when we get an influx of identical calls.
