E Mail Notification

Hi

When a Change Request is raised, currently an e-mail notification is send to our Change Manager :

 

Type -  E Mail Notification

Task -  E Mail Request Owner.

Is it possible to send this E Mail to a number of Internal E Mail Addresses. ( i.e. all member of the IT Department )

Hi @colind,

 

The most efficient way to send an email to a number of co - workers within Hornbill is to create a distribution list. You can add all member of the IT department to that distribution list.

Within the Business Process, create an automated task and select the type as email notification. Underneath task, you can select 'External Email Address'. Underneath options, navigate to External Address and enter the email of the distribution list as per my screenshot below:

Have set up an External address but it is still going to the original e mail destination

It could be that your current BP version, the one with "hornbill" address, has not been published, the active version is still the one with "john" address...
