Adding teams to a workspace

I really enjoyed the Insight17 last week and noted we need to use collaboration more.

We are keen to use workspaces but noticed you can only add user accounts (all or individuals). This isn't really great when we have large teams (50+ accounts), and we have different business within our organisation using the tool (Web team, AV team, Finance Team). Is there a way to assign workspaces by team, department etc?

Hi @nasimg and @DeadMeatGF. Talking to our back end team this can take quite some time to be implemented. What we can do for a short term if it sounds OK with you is to be able to add individual users of teams. This means that if a member is added later to the team the workspace will not be updated with this (but this is the ultimate goal).

Personally I'm not in a mad rush as our IT teams that currently use SM are relatively small, but as we bring more features into the Facilities rollout this will become an issue.

Your short term fix would help us as we have multiple large teams and organisations - appreciate the any new members of the teams wouldn't be added.

Alright @nasimg. I've raised a change for this. it shouldn't take long to implement this. Anyway I'll keep this post updated when we have news.
