Martyn Houghton Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Following on from the introductions of the filter options on the request timeline, it would be good to have the ability to set your own personal filter settings which persist when opening new requests. Where as at the moment each time you open a request they reset to the All option. Cheers Martyn
James Ainsworth Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Hi Martyn, I can see the benefit to having a 'Sticky Filter'. I will investigate and see if there are any plans in place for this. Regards, James
James Ainsworth Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 The first step toward this is that we have added a very small change to the View label at the top of the Timeline where it will now show you that a filter has been applied, rather than just saying 'Filter'. We have also added a change to our backlog to allow the selection of the filter to be persistent on a per user basis. Regards, James
Martyn Houghton Posted June 2, 2017 Author Posted June 2, 2017 @James Ainsworth Thanks, I sure you can come up with a more corporate name for this feature than mine. Cheers Martyn
James Ainsworth Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Hi Martyn, I just wanted to update this post to let you know that a change was completed in Service Manager build 1040 that now has the Timeline filter persisting as you move between different requests. I hope this helps. Regards, James
Martyn Houghton Posted September 1, 2017 Author Posted September 1, 2017 @James Ainsworth Thanks. I will give it a test. Does it persist per session or recorded against the user profile? Cheers Martyn
James Ainsworth Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Hi @Martyn Houghton It will persist between sessions for the user. Regards, James
