Hello Everyone

The latest build of Hornbill Service Manager (954) has been released to live.

Change Log for this release are as follows:


  • Resolution text for a Request can be provided through the BPM
  • Custom Fields of a Request can be updated through the BPM
  • Automatically set the status of a Service through the BPM
  • The ability to associate Services to a Request with the option to provide a relationship. You can define relationships through the Admin tool (Service Manager > Configuration > Relationships). Providing a relationship while associating Services to a Request can be enforced through “app.relationship.required” Application Setting
  • Introducing Release Management to Service Manager
  • Link additional Services to a Request. You can also define the relationship in the Admin tool (Service Manager > Configuration > Relationships) and this can be enforced using the app setting app.relationship.required.
  • Introducing the Release request type to Service Manager.


  • Timeline update for changing a customer on a Request now shows the customer that it was changed from
  • When changing a customer on a Request, the timeline update will now show what it was changed from and to.


  • Minor UI improvements to boards
  • The button create an SLA is disabled until the form has been completed
  • The request full category path is now stored against a Request, making the details and any reports consistent
  • Service Manager Dashboard Charts were not always showing the correct values when complex filters were used
  • Progressive Capture can now branch by “catalogName” variable in the Portals
  • When updating a Service Level, the display value was not updated correctly
