Trying to get automated email to assignment owner notifications when a user updates via the Portal

Trying to get the system to email the assignment owner when a user updates via the portal.

Set the guest.app.requests.notification.notificationType.portalUpdate to Email Only

and set

guest.app.requests.notification.notificationType.assignment to email Only.

 

Am expecting that when the user updates via the portal it will email a notification to the assignment owner.

But no email?

Hi @Graeme Clark

Currently Some of the email notifications need to use a form of direct messaging due to an issue with mailbox rights, as such you would need to ensure you have routing rule configured in your Outbound Routing Rules as mentioned in this post below - this might be a good starting place for investigation.

Hi Steven

 

Checked our Outbound Mail Route and this is configured to use 'Direct Outbound (recommended)' This is set on our own Ourbound Mail Route 'countydurhamhousinggroup.co.uk' as this is the one we use. But I did note this was not set on the live.hornbill.com outbound mail route. Or does it need to be set here aswell ( for live.hornbill.com)

Yes you would need the rule for the live.hornbill.com set-up, as you have done this and you are still not seeing the emails, i think the best course of action is to get this logged as an issue and we can take a look for you - if you could raise the issue here, we can do that for you.
