Hello, we currently have ServiceManager configured to use Outbound mail via a mailbox that in Exchange on-premise (Exchange 2010). We had to setup some firewall rules and some SMTP relay connectors to get this to work. We are planning to migrate the mailbox account to Office 365 (Exchange 2016 online) and would like to know if anyone has got this working and what configuration is needed. Not sure if a SMTP connector will need to be created with the Hornbill IP that emails will originate from? Would be much appreciated if someone could advise. Many thanks, Pete.
Hi All, We are having a slight issue with an undetermined number of users, Our userbase has a large number of contracts included that will all have different email addresses, when doing our LDAP import it is picking up from the Users Email Address within Active Directory. The problem with this is that it may not match the e-mail address they are sending from. Is there anyway for us to map the primary SMTP within AD to the Email field within Hornbill? Thank you in advance for any help.
At the moment the email domain configuration for outgoing email from the Collaboration core has three options, for encryption - No Encryption, SSL and TLS. Can we raise an request for change to STARTLS option to be implemented as well. Thanks. Martyn
