  1. Is there a way in the BPM to 'Get Asset Details' so that we can use things like the Owner Field? I would like to raise requests against assets and then to email/assign the request/add as member etc to the 'owned by' field of an asset...Don't think that this is currently easily achieved within the BPM? Also I suppose that this 'Get Asset Details' option would allow us to make decisions and to take other information from the Asset to insert into the request/emails etc.
  2. Hi We have a library which was created by someone who no longer works with service manager. I needed to be able to change permissions on the library and can't do it, I have had to ask him to make the changes for me. Is there a way round it? Can I either have rights to change permissions on it or take over ownership of the library? It would cause more of a problem is the owner of the library left the company. Apologies if this has been raised before, I found articles about taking ownership of documents, but not libraries. Thanks Helen
  3. When creating a Human Task in the BPM, you have to specify both an Owner and Assign To user. As I understand it the Owner connection is to allow the task to modified (i.e. reallocated etc via a Board) by a user other than the task has been assigned to. If this is the case and you have to be an 'Owner' of a task in order to re-assign it, then it would be a good idea if this option had the facility to assign to a group or role, as well as a specific user. Cheers Martyn
