  1. Following the addition of being able to publish documents linked to services on the portals, which is a big step forward in us being able to regain the ability to publish a knowledge base on the portals, can we request some enhancements to make it more manageable and easier to use for the consumer, especially when a large volume of documents are linked. Documents to be grouped under the source Library, and initial display is Library headings, with the option to expand to list documents in said Library. Ability to control the order of the Libraries and the documents in the Service setup screen. Just to give you an example of the volume and structure we are trying to make usable in the Service Manager, please see below. At the moment the only way to change the order is to unlink the documents and then link them again in the order you want, but there is no grouping, so will just be one long list. Cheers Martyn
  2. @TrevorHarris I just saw a post by @samwoo that look like it might be the same or similar to the following issue I'm having. I just published a word document in Document Manager, added it to a library, shared the library with a team. I made sure a worker in the team was set up with library user and docadmin roles. She couldn't find the document. However, when I shared the document (i.e. not via the library) with the same worker as an individual, she could find it but not download it. So, 1st issue - am I missing a step in making documents available for teams to view? sharing on an individual basis isn't practical. Or should this go into knowledge base? i.e. am I using the wrong tool? 2nd issue - any idea why the worker got an error when trying to download the file?
  3. Hi We have a library which was created by someone who no longer works with service manager. I needed to be able to change permissions on the library and can't do it, I have had to ask him to make the changes for me. Is there a way round it? Can I either have rights to change permissions on it or take over ownership of the library? It would cause more of a problem is the owner of the library left the company. Apologies if this has been raised before, I found articles about taking ownership of documents, but not libraries. Thanks Helen
  4. Is there a way to move a document you have created in Document Manager from your documents into a Library, or move documents from one Library to another? Cheers Martyn
  5. Hi, I have created a library and then a document (from the library screen). However, the document created was not "attached" to the library... Question 1: is that normal? Did I do something wrong? Question 2: is it possible to move a document to a library?
