  1. Is it possible to query AD group membership as part of the LDAP import process? We would like to use AD group management to manage a collection of clinical "VIPs" so would interrogate this during the LDAP import and then add those AD group members to a team on Hornbill to then use to display notifications and potentially amend SLA priority etc. @Adrian Simpkins

  4. We have set up a multiple trusted forest setup on our AD's as we have three major companies being integrated into one, but the AD integration isn’t planned for a while, but need to run LDAP on different domains so that all our customers can login and raise support calls. Any advice how I can complete this, we have successfully working on one domain but need help getting it to work on the other two.
  5. Hi @TrevorKillick, I am testing out the new version of the LDAP import (as recommended to me in another post), but I am having some problems... Here is the command line I run: LDAP_User_Import.exe -instanceid XXXXX -apikey XXXXXXX -config test-lyonel -dryrun true [-logprefix testLR -version true] Any idea on why it crashes in the middle of the process? Is it cause for concern?
  6. Hi All, We are having a slight issue with an undetermined number of users, Our userbase has a large number of contracts included that will all have different email addresses, when doing our LDAP import it is picking up from the Users Email Address within Active Directory. The problem with this is that it may not match the e-mail address they are sending from. Is there anyway for us to map the primary SMTP within AD to the Email field within Hornbill? Thank you in advance for any help.
  7. We have a large number of OU in our AD, so I run the import from the parent level and use the Scope=2 setting to include all the sub levels. I now need to exclude just one of the OU from the LDAP import process, but even though I have added it into the filter the LDAP import process is still processing them, so I think I have something wrong in the syntax when trying to exclude an OU. (&(objectCategory=User)(!(userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2))(!(ou=CloudAmber))) I have also tried the format ou:dn:=CloudAmber, but that does not work either. I have also tested it in reverse, i.e. trying only to import just that OU, but then get no results, so it does look like I doing something wrong in terms testing the OU value. Cheers Martyn
