  1. I have a user that has left the organisation so there account has been disabled in the AD linked to Hornbill by the LDAP Import tool. We have a LDAP import which updates the status of the Hornbill accounts to archived when the AD account is disabled, but this is failing for a specific user as the User created documents in Document Manager and the LDAP log is reporting an error as it is not able to archive the user as it 'owns documents'. How can I take ownership of the documents that the user created so that the account can be disabled? Cheers Martyn
  2. Hi all, In our Marketing process we have a number of authorisation nodes. Currently the Marketing team manually email the relevant attachments to the authorisers after the node has kicked off but this is obviously a horrible process. What I need is a way for the authorisers to be able to view the attachments without having to email them separately. All the authorisers are collaboration users only. And there are about 250 users who could raise a request. Any ideas? Thanks Dan
  3. Good Morning All, Does anyone know if there is or will be an option on the service portal to search for documents using tags? The My services search bar works really well so i was looking to see if the My Documents had any plans to also have this feature
  4. Document Manager Plug-in for Service Manager One of the great things about apps on Hornbill is the synergy between them.  This video has a look at the Document Manager Plug-in that is provided to the different types of requests available within Service Manager. This Plug-in lets you search and link documents which are stored within libraries held in Document Manager. This is ideal for making help documents, instruction manuals, and policy documents available for linking to any request.
  5. Can you please advise how I can set hornbill to open documents directly. Currently I am having to save every document locally before I can open these.
  6. Hi, I was testing something with the doc manager app the other day. Following my tests, I decided to do some cleaning and I noticed that tags associated to documents are not removed from the "Tags" section when the document is removed... Is this the intended behaviour? Because at the moment it is quite confusing.
  7. Hello I was wondering if functionality could be introduced if not already for these possible features . Document Manager Documents being able to be selectable in tickets to either add to notes or send to customers . Being able to publish documents to the portal and have permissions sets for just IT and Customer basis . Is there a KB feature for the portal for customers to access, if so easily being able to add from document library as there may be cross over documents Regards Gareth
