  1. Can we request an enhancement request to have the 'Description' field used in publishing Problem and Known Error, resizable/expandable as when populating the field with a significant amount of text the current fixed sizing is restrictive. Cheers Martyn

Using the new Image Library in the Admin Tool, when we use the Change Image option on an existing image it does not change the image and wipes out the existing Description text after selecting the new file. Example screenshots are below. Can the 'Description' be retained and solely the image content updated. Cheers Martyn
  3. I am trying to locate the 'Description' field on the Known Errors Publish to Portals action. I have located the Workaround field as 'h_steps_to_resolve' in h_itsm_knownerrors, but checking the table in Database View does not show the 'description' field. I know this is separate to the main request description field as it has different content. Can some one confirm the table, field name and maximum size applied when populating via the GUI?   4. Is there a way to output the questions that are completed in PCF nicely, we want to output the questions into an email or the description of the request easily. I know this is replicating the Questions sections but we find a lot easier in the description as we can email this to the customer as confirmation as well as being able to overwrite the information if it changes. I guess we are looking for something like 'h_questions' to output the list of questions and answers that the customer has completed.....is this possible?

We have a number of different progressive captures which ask very specific questions along with appropriate logic linked to them, which will not necessarily a one to one direct match directly summary and description. At the moment we have to implement logic in the the BPM which branches based on the progressive capture used to then formulate and build the the summary and description (as well as other fields and custom fields) based on the progressive capture responses. This makes the BPM quiet complex when attempting to use a generic/smaller number of BPM's. Can we raise an enhancement request to have amalgamation node, a bit akin to the BPM 'Update Request' node which can be run at the end of the Progressive Capture to populate the necessary fields in the new request. The added advantage is that if for some reason the BPM fails to trigger the main standard fields are populated. Cheers Martyn

We have just gone live with the Employee Portal today and have noticed that any content entered in the progressive capture 'Description' to provide guidance on completing the progressive capture is be duplicated to the righthand breadcrumb panel. This appears to be a defect as it does not do this in the original service and customer portal, not the live user app. Can this be looked at as a matter of urgency as is causing confusion with users.   7. Can the 'Show Associated Files' dialog launched from the Request View - Email action, include the description text as shown in the Request View - Attachments? We often have a number of similar files attached to our requests and we use the attachment descriptions to differentiate. Cheers Martyn
  8. @AlexTumber Similar to my other post under Service Manager, can the My Timesheet widget also display the Category and Sub Category descriptions when hovering over the selection, to provide additional guidance to the user? Cheers Martyn
  9. @AlexTumber When a user is selecting a Time Sheet Category and Sub Category, can it description be displayed as tooltip to help guide the user in selecting the correct category? Cheers Martyn

As with additional 'Outcome Fields' on Human Tasks, add the ability to enter a 'Placeholder' description for the generic 'Reason' field, so guidance can be provided to the person assigned the activity. This saves having to disable the Reason field and add additional 'Outcome Fields' just to get a supporting description. Cheers Martyn
  11. I believe this may have already been raised before, but could not locate a post, apologies if a duplicate. Can the ability to add descriptive (Description) text to the standard 'Request Details' form fields be added. We are not able to use the custom forms using the h_summary and h_description fields as these do not pre-populate when logging requests from email or linked requests. Cheers Martyn
  12. Linked to my earlier post a moment ago about the standard File Attachment PC node (link below), it would be useful to have the ability to add a custom description to both the request title and description fields, which you can then add guidance too with Wiki Markup etc. Cheers Martyn
  13. It would be useful to have the ability to add a custom description to the standard Progressive Capture node, the same way you can with custom form fields. For use, this would be to add guidance on what to attach and as well as advising the removal of any personal information , i.e. GDPR. Cheers Martyn
  14. It appear the setting Service Manager Settings - com.hornbill.servicemanager.pinSections.historicUpdates has the incorrect description on it as I presume it should be to pin the Historic Updates section open and not the Questions section? Cheers Martyn

Since a recent Service Manager update (we are now on build 979) the full text of the human task/activity is now being added into the timeline when the it is marked as completed along with the 'Reason' text. As some of out human tasks have quite long descriptions to cover the actions/procedures involved this is making the timeline unreadable as the actual reason (text entered into when completing the task) and the outcome are pushed to the bottom of the update and not visible without using the show more option. There is no need to include the full description of the task when recording it completion on the timeline as it is shown in the completed activities. Is there an option to turn this off either as a system wide setting or on the human task node in the BPM itself? If not can this be raised as a urgent change request. Cheers Martyn

Afternoon, I am running a report that has the Call Description field in it, When I run the report out to a CSV File The description field doesn't populate the full information, it only shows a small part, however in the data preview section when creating the report it shows the whole description? please see screen shots, is this a bug?
