  1. So when we create a view to search for data verses the database we get different results which is confusing us as to which is the correct information, can anyone shed any light as to what we are doing wrong? View The resolution text in the box is 'After clicking on the option Login into the Applicant View you will be able to login with the below credentials:', this gives184 results Database When we do the same in the database we get 153 results: This is the database search: SELECT * FROM h_itsm_requests where h_resolution like '%After clicking on the option Login into the Applicant View you will be able to login with the below credentials:%' and h_datelogged <= '2021-01-01 00:00:00' and h_requesttype = 'Incident'
  2. Hi, I've noticed this morning that our instance database storage rocketed up on 13th October. Based on the chart attached, it increased by 12GB in one day. As far as we are concerned, we did not and have not had any major activity to warrant such an increase in storage. Can you provide any further details on this increase, and how it can be reduced back to the levels prior to October 13th. I am keen to understand what has caused this, as this obviously leaves us in a situation where we are approaching our Total Storage limit. Kind regards, Neil Smith
  3. We have noticed that when looking up request in the database there are some that have usernames in the h_source_id field and then there are some that have numbers (like below) why is there differences...should these not all display the username? This number doesn't seem to initially relate to anything in the loggers account details.
  4. We have a number of measures and widgets that have to be updated routinely when staff leave or move to different teams within IT. If a column could be added called h_createdby_teamname this would make a lot of measures/widgets easier to maintain and less admin when we have any staff changes. Existing: h_requesttype IN ('Incident') AND h_createdby IN ('AVAUG', 'TJACK', 'REDWA', 'ASALV', 'ROSMO', 'AHOLL') Proposed: h_requesttype IN ('Incident') AND h_createdby_teamname IN ('Service Desk')

  6. So today we are experiencing the issue in the image below on several peoples logins to various applications, there are also reports of slowness and 'cannot connect to database' errors.... is there something that is going on that we need to be aware of?
  7. Hi all, Is there a role which allows access to database direct but isnt a system admin / super user role? I thought that advance reporting admin would do it but apparently not. If no role is available does anyone know the settings to allow for read only access to database direct so I can create one. Thanks Dan
  8. Is there somewhere in hornbill where I can see your database diagrams? I'm trying to build a query that connects to the h_status column in the h_sys_accounts_status table, so our dashboards will show Analyst Name - Tickets Resolved - Analyst Status (so that is shows when people are on Annual leave or sick etc...) However I cannot find what other tables the h_status column connects to, to do this? Thanks Hayley
  9. Hi all, Not sure where to place this, apologies if this is the wrong (sub)forum. I am noticing some inconsistencies with comma placement in the from database direct exported .CSV's. When running this simple query: SELECT * FROM h_cmdb_assets as a LEFT JOIN h_cmdb_assets_computer_peripheral as b on a.h_pk_asset_id = b.h_pk_asset_id WHERE a.h_name LIKE '%Jabra%' order by a.h_pk_asset_id ASC limit 250 I get the following data returned: As you can see the the retired_date column is only filled in on the first record. When exporting this through the CSV button I get the following .CSV (opened in Notepad++ before even touching it with Excel). I took the liberty of "tabbing" the plain text for readability As you can see the exported file seems to be missing a few commas. This happens throughout this document and other documents exported this way. Does anyone else experience the same problems? Thanks, Alex
