  1. Is there any plans to provide the facility of copy a service in order to duplicate it? With more details and configuration going into services, it would be really useful to have the ability to duplicate a current service and the modify it, either to make a new service or as a revision to the current service. Cheers Martyn
  2. Related to our earlier post about the ability to copy a whole service (link below), we would also like to request the ability to Copy Subscribers. Like other parts of the system when dealing with Roles or Organisation objects you have the ability to copy the members to the current object, which is especially useful when migrating or replacing existing roles/organisations. The same is true for Services. We are going through a review of our Services at the moment, consolidating some of them down, so having the ability to copy subscriptions from the previous services would save so much time, rather then having to do this one by one, entering the subscriber. Cheers Martyn
  3. We are setting up a number of custom Asset Types which have similar configuration/fields, so can we request an enhancement to be able to copy an existing Asset Type, so that we do not need to set them up from scratch each time. Cheers Martyn
  4. Having a large number of Services and a growing number of different Service Level Agreements (SLA) where we need to add both different targets and escalation processes, it would really help save a lot of manual effort, it there was the ability to copy the Service Level Agreement setting from one Service to another or even better select a number of destination Services in one go. In terms of settings this would need to include linked Service Levels and the Rules. At the moment I updating about 40 Services where I am having to manually add each new Service Level Agreement and add the Rules, service by service, when the changes are identical for all the services in question. Cheers Martyn
  5. Me again, Another request: would it be possible to have a "Copy" feature for services? (a bit like the "Save As..." for reports, measures, widgets, etc) Creating a new service from scratch can be particularly time consuming when you have to setup all catalogue items, SLAs, FAQs, feedback, etc. In most cases, when I need to create a new service I could really do with a simple copy of an existing service, and then modify only a couple of things. Would anybody else be interested in such feature too? Thanks in advance for any feedback!
  6. We are in the process of implementing multiple desks and therefore are duplicate a number of different email templates so that can be customised for each different 'Service Desk'. It would be really useful to have the ability to copy or create a new template based on an existing one, similar to the functionality that was present in the Support Works Email Template screen. This would save a lot of work and also make it lot easier to maintain a large set of email templates. Cheers Martyn
  7. I am looking to implement a number of measures for each of my staff as part of performance monitoring. The measures are basically identical except the value in the selection criteria to control which analyst they relate too. It would be really helpful to be able to 'copy' a measure, rather than having to create each of them a fresh each time. Cheers Martyn
  8. I have created a view and I want to copy it by selecting MAKE A COPY... but this doesn't seem to do anything - perhaps I'm missing something - can anyone help please? Forum - Copy a View Issue.docx
  9. Hello, Working with Nadeem on site on Monday we have discovered that we cannot Copy and Paste within the Progressive Capture. I would like to request this feature to be added to the Progressive Capture area as it does for the BPM area. Another related feature request - is it possible to allow nodes to be copied between hornbill tabs/window via Windows Clipboard? Say I have two Progressive Capture or BPM windows open for seperate things, i would like to be able to copy a node from one to the other (if possible), for example if i need the same custom form on two seperate PC's which are already built or have a task in one BPM, but need the exact same task in another. Thanks, Samuel
  10. It would be really useful to have the ability to copy existing email template a create a copy saved under a different name, rather than having to create a blank one and copy the subject and description content, when update or basing a new template on a previous one. Cheers Martyn
  11. Hello, I recently used the Hornbill Support email address to try and get some support but I was directed to use the forms, so here goes.... Is it possible to copy a request and the change the details about the request? i.e. We have 5 people on 1 site ring our helpdesk and rather than have to log the same request 5 times with different information we can copy the first request and change the header or detail information. If there is a more efficient way to do this then I would be happy to be informed of it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you,
