  1. Hi, I was looking to pull together a dashboard, using several widgets, however when creating a widget with a data chart/measured sample combination, the output just shows Week numbers, rather than actual w/c dates (see attached image). Is there some configuration that needs making in order to change this, or is this set in stone? Please advise. Many thanks, Neil
  2. Related back to earlier post (link at the bottom) and my colleagues, @Martin.bowman, post about having the ability to sort/filter notifications, would it be possible to have a 'Notifications' widget created for the Home/Hornbill Today page which you could insert to show your notifications and then add the functionality to the Widget to Sort/Filter the notifications. This way you are not having to alter the currently functionality of the top bar notification icon. Cheers Martyn
  3. I am trying to calculate a metric to show the average percentage of incidents associated with changes by dividing 'the number of incidents linked to changes' by 'the total number of changes' and multiplying the result by 100. I would like to show this in a widget and using a count list I am able to calculate the following. Number of incidents linked to changes: "SELECT COUNT h_sm_relationship_entities.h_entity_id FROM h_itsm_requests,h_sm_relationship_entities WHERE (h_itsm_requests.h_pk_reference = h_sm_relationship_entities.h_linked_entity_id) AND (h_sm_relationship_entities.h_linked_entity_id LIKE 'IN%') AND (h_sm_relationship_entities.h_entity_id LIKE 'CH%')" Total number of changes: "SELECT COUNT h_itsm_requests.h_pk_reference FROM h_itsm_requests WHERE h_itsm_requests.h_pk_reference LIKE 'CH%'" But the metric for this is difficult. I currently have the following but the system doesn't like it: "( (SELECT COUNT h_sm_relationship_entities.h_entity_id FROM h_itsm_requests,h_sm_relationship_entities WHERE (h_itsm_requests.h_pk_reference = h_sm_relationship_entities.h_linked_entity_id) AND (h_sm_relationship_entities.h_linked_entity_id LIKE 'IN%') AND (h_sm_relationship_entities.h_entity_id LIKE 'CH%')) DIV (SELECT COUNT h_itsm_requests.h_pk_reference FROM h_itsm_requests WHERE h_itsm_requests.h_pk_reference LIKE 'CH%') ) * 100" If anyone could offer some advice, or point me in the right direction if I am barking up the wrong tree, then please let me know. Cheers Tom
  4. Good afternoon We have an issue with a widget on a report that is not adding the call details of a call that they have worked on (and added time) where they are not the owner of that call. The technician can see the time that they have added to the call is shown in their 'My timesheets' and the call itself shows their time too but the call details are not displayed in the widget. The widget component to gather the accumulated technician data is: select h_pk_reference as 'Call No', h_summary as 'Summary', h_datelastmodified as 'Last Modified', h_withinfix as 'Status' from h_itsm_requests where h_status IN ('status.open') AND h_ownerid = 'AVAUG' AND h_datelastmodified >= CURDATE() The report then uses the following: select h_minutes, h_update_time from h_timesheet_values where h_member='AVAUG' order by h_update_time Looks like the update field (h_update_time) on h_timesheet_values is not being updated. @Hornbill Support Team - Where are we going wrong please? 6. It would be really useful when adding new measures to a scorecard widget to be able to reorder them without having to delete them and re-add them. Cheers Martyn
  7. Hi all, A quick question regarding the ability to change the text colour in a Widget based on the aggregate value. I have just tried setting this and was surprised to see that the only thing that changes colour was the title of the individual counter list item and not the value itself. Is this intentional or is this a bug?
  8. Hi First post of our new Hornbill era. So still learning! Trying to generate a graph for teams to show SLA's within fix, SLA's breached and ongoing tasks that are within the SLA but not yet resolved. I'm using the h_withinfix=0 and h_withinfix=1 parameters - however I cannot find a suitable 3rd measure which shows the number of "active jobs" that are still within the parameters of the SLA. Samples I've seen show the h_withinfix='' filter but this seems to duplicate the filter for h_withinfix=0. Any ideas?
  9. I have written a widget to show me calls resolved for the previous month (nov) for a specific team with columns for Priority, Month Avg Response time, Avg Resolve Time , Avg Hold time and ticket count. This is working fine however i would like it to include Closed calls as some of our calls close without a response or resolve time (quick closures) The SQL i have for the widget currently is SELECT h_fk_priorityname AS Priority, monthname( h_dateresolved) month, concat(lpad(floor(avg(h_responsetime)/3600),2,'0'),':',floor(mod(avg(h_responsetime),3600)/60)) as 'Avg Response', concat(lpad(floor(avg(h_fixtime)/3600),2,'0'),':',floor(mod(avg(h_fixtime),3600)/60)) as 'Avg Resolve', concat(lpad(floor(avg(h_totalonholdtime)/3600),2,'0'),':',floor(mod(avg(h_totalonholdtime),3600)/60)) as 'Avg OnHold', COUNT(h_pk_reference) AS Tickets FROM h_itsm_requests WHERE (h_status= 'status.closed' OR h_status= 'status.resolved') AND (h_fk_priorityname NOT LIKE 'PM%') AND (h_fk_priorityname NOT LIKE 'R99%') AND ((month(h_dateresolved) = (Month(CURDATE()) - 1) and year(h_dateresolved)=year(curdate())) OR (month(h_dateresolved) = (Month(CURDATE()) - 1) and year(h_dateresolved)=year(curdate()))) AND (h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/SRVRAD/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/STRGBKUP/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/APPDEL/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/DOMAD/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/EXCHNG/') GROUP BY month(h_dateresolved), h_fk_priorityname This works however when i try to add in the ClosedBy bit it fails SELECT h_fk_priorityname AS Priority, monthname( h_dateresolved) month, concat(lpad(floor(avg(h_responsetime)/3600),2,'0'),':',floor(mod(avg(h_responsetime),3600)/60)) as 'Avg Response', concat(lpad(floor(avg(h_fixtime)/3600),2,'0'),':',floor(mod(avg(h_fixtime),3600)/60)) as 'Avg Resolve', concat(lpad(floor(avg(h_totalonholdtime)/3600),2,'0'),':',floor(mod(avg(h_totalonholdtime),3600)/60)) as 'Avg OnHold', COUNT(h_pk_reference) AS Tickets FROM h_itsm_requests WHERE (h_status= 'status.closed' OR h_status= 'status.resolved') AND (h_fk_priorityname NOT LIKE 'PM%') AND (h_fk_priorityname NOT LIKE 'R99%') AND ((month(h_dateresolved) = (Month(CURDATE()) - 1) and year(h_dateresolved)=year(curdate())) AND ((h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/SRVRAD/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/STRGBKUP/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/APPDEL/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/DOMAD/' OR h_resolvedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/EXCHNG/') OR (h_closedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/SRVRAD/' OR h_closedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/STRGBKUP/' OR h_closedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/APPDEL/' OR h_closedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/DOMAD/' OR h_closedby_team_id = 'GOSH/DivFINICT/SubICT/ITSRV/DTCNTR/EXCHNG/'))) GROUP BY month(h_dateresolved), h_fk_priorityname Adding the h_closedby_team_id bit is working fine but im struggling to get this bit to work with closed aswell ((month(h_dateresolved) = (Month(CURDATE()) - 1) and year(h_dateresolved)=year(curdate())) I have tried (((month(h_dateresolved) = (Month(CURDATE()) - 1) and year(h_dateresolved)=year(curdate())) OR ((month(h_dateclosed) = (Month(CURDATE()) - 1) and year(h_dateclosed)=year(curdate())) ) Aswell as (((month(h_dateresolved) OR month(h_dateclosed)) = (Month(CURDATE()) - 1)) and ((year(h_dateresolved) OR year(h_dateclosed)) =year(curdate()))) but they are not working, i imagine something is wrong in my code but i dont know what? Does anyone have any ideas? Hayley.
  10. Hi all, I am trying to create a couple of widgets without much success. I need to know how many tickets we resolved last month per team and how many have been resolved so far this month per team. I have the following statement: (h_requesttype = 'Service Request' OR h_requesttype = 'Incident') AND (h_dateresolved >= LAST_DAY(NOW() - INTERVAL 1 MONTH) + INTERVAL 1 DAY) AND (h_resolvedby_teamname = ' IT Service Desk) But although it shows resolved tickets this month overall (if I remove the (h_resolvedby_teamname = ' IT Service Desk)) I cant get it to show per team. I also cant work out the statement required to show last months numbers for anything. I thought I would be clever and change the interval to 2 MONTH but as you imagine it just adds the last months numbers to the current months numbers (I should have guessed) Any help appreciated Thanks Dan
  11. Hi, I have a very strange rendering on my widget charts when I use the "stack" option but not the % one: As you can see the proportions are all messed up. If I use the % option, it looks much better (but this is not what I want!) Anyone else has the same issue?
  12. Hi all, Have all the demo analytics been removed from the demo instance? I was hoping to see how to make some nice looking dashboards. Mainly like the one shown at the bottom of this thread,

    Data list

    Hi, Is there an easy way around the problem with a data list where it doesn't keep the data under the correct heading if there isn't data for that heading? Hopefully the screenshot will explain it better See how the data for the top two lines are shifted over because there is nothing under date resolved The data for the status and impacted columns have moved one column to the left thanks, Pete
  14. Good morning, I am trying to Create some Measures for our dashboard to report percentage of calls closed inside and outside SLA agreements. I have got a weekly one for inside and a monthly one for inside Service Requests and incidents working, However I cannot get the monthly outside one to work? The outside Weekly one picks up information however he outside monthly one is not picking up anything. Logically speaking if the weekly one is working all I need to do is change the Frequency to monthly and adjusting the sample history? But this doesn't seem to be working?
  15. Hi, I am trying to display on a graph the number of requests logged per service and keep only the top 5 over the last 3 month (to show the evolution). But I cannot get to sort the data... Is it just me being a noob? Or is it not possible at this stage? Here is what I get: Here is what I would like (x3 as I need 3 month): Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks
  16. At the moment it is not possible to rename a column name when using a 'List of Data' Widget in Advanced Analytics, so when the Widget displays the physical database column name, i.e. h_datelogged, h_pk_reference etc. It would be really useful to be able to use the 'as <name>' format then entering the columns to allow the column output to be renamed or for the Widget output to use the field label/translation text. Cheers Martyn
  17. Hi, Is it possible to force the labels on axis to be displayed horizontally? If "auto" is supposed to be horizontal display, then something does not quite work. Thanks
  18. When using Charts in the dashboard the data label text size is too small to read when displayed on a large screen. Resizing the graph and putting each graph on it own dashboard in the slideshow still does not increase the size of the data labels, just the width of the chart elements. Can a change be raised to allow control of the text size of the data labels for the Chart widgets, so that we can increase the size of the text to make it readable on a large screen from surrounding desks. Cheers Martyn
  19. Just in case anyone else is trying to create a widget to display on a dashboard showing the current availability of a number of analyst you use a Data List Widget and configure it to query h_sys_accounts as below. In the example below I have just included the users I was interested in filter where clause. The availability status is a numeric field which is 0=Available, 1=Lunch, 2=Training, 3=Holiday, 4=Meeting, 5=Out of the Office, 6=DND. Cheers Martyn
  20. I am attempting to create a Wdiget Chart using the SQL Group by option to show the current availability of my 1st Tier team based on h_sys_accounts table and the h_avail_status. I can create the chart but some of the options that where visible in the previous admin tool do not appear to be present since the new admin tool has been rolled out. In particular you do not seem to be able to specify further chart options or setup the drill down facilities. I check the wiki and linked video, but these still refer to the old admin tool. Is this a known issue? https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Widgets Cheers Martyn
