  1. We have recently updated some teams with new managers and team leaders, however none of these changes appear to have updated in timesheet manager. I have checked that I am showing as the correct manager to the individuals too, but I still see my old staff and teams, not the new ones added. It feels like there is an issue updating Timesheet manager with the latest Organisation data.
  2. We are in the last stages of being able to move our contracts DB into Hornbill so they are all linked to their relevant Supplier and Assets (CMDB Goals!!) However, even with the 11 custom fields we are run out of fields. I believe this could be overcome by: 1. create more standard fields 2. offering more custom fields Though if 1 was achieved then 2 may not be required. Can I suggest, as a standard set of fields (much like on the asset table). As these can be easily made visible/not visible on the contract per instance I believe this will offer all your customers a better option for their contract DB. 1.Fields that should be available as standard in addition to those already present: Basic Details: Used By Owned By Type (could be a maintenance contract, or a licence renewal etc Dates: Contract start date Contract end date Renewal start date (a 3 year contract may still need annual renewals for licence true up etc, like with a MSEA) Renewal end date Cancellation Notice Period Financial Information: Order Number Invoice Number Reseller Cost Centre Acq. method Payment Type (PO, CC, International, etc) People: Budget holder 2. Additional Custom Fields It would be useful to have more custom fields, especially for date and decimal entry. As an organisation we have a need to record split costs as well as recording the set budget amount. As per the Date section above, if these cannot be included as standard fields we would need date custom fields in addition. Happy to answer any questions or clarify our requirements, but essentially I am to look at it form a generic point of view for all organisations and then we can then use custom fields to fit our needs.   3. Alex, sorry another quick query that I am sure is a quick answer. Supplier ID on the Contracts form.... it appears to be a defined list but I cannot see where I can create this list? Thanks
  4. Hello. Since the recent Timesheet update the start/stop the clock function has stopped working.. This has added a huge overhead to completing activities for the team. My IT Stores analyst describes it as follows: "Before the update you could start the timer from an Activity, and it would automatically update into your time sheet. But since the update it seems you now have to go out of the activity and into the timesheet and start the time. Then do the activity and then back into the time sheet and stop it. This is on every Activity that I get, working in the stores I can get from 5 to 20 activities in the morning to complete, which is going to take me some time to do jumping in and out to complete the activity with the timesheet timer set this way. But it will be good when my activities drop off after the morning rush, I can start the timer when I am completing other tasks I carry out within stores, that are not generated activities. So may I suggest that the timer is reinstalled onto activities and update automatically into the timesheet, but also left as an ad hoc timer to be able to start for non activities from the timesheet as they have done on the update please. I may have got this wrong but would you be able to check with Hornbill if this is the case, thank you." If we are doing something wrong please let us know, but if it has been removed please can it be re-instated as the start stop option to add time is critical to users like stuart who plough through multiple in quick succession.   5. Thank you Alex. Would it be possible to request that the owner can be edited by anyone with Supplier access? I'm think on scenarios where some if off long term or leaves etc, we need a way for this to be amended. Adding the owner filtre would be great! thank you. many thanks

  7. Hello. We are loving the new Supplier Manager updates however I have 1 query and 1 request around owners. 1. We can set the owner of a Supplier but I can't see any way to edit this after creation. How do you change the owner of a Supplier? 2. Contracts now also have an owner under the Person section which is brilliant!! Can this field please be added to the contracts list so it can be filtered by owner? Many thanks
  8. Hi, Is there any way we can remove the decimal places from the results of a % measure? At the moment all % results display to 4 decimal places, e.g 84.4521% At worst I would suggest perhaps one decimal place may be required but certainly no more and it makes the scorecards too over complicated.   9. Hello. We have asked this before, but there are some real quick wins for us adopting project manager across the whole of IT if we are able to do the following: 1. Assign a project task to a team rather than an individual 2. Provide a way of prioritising Projects so that they can be listed in priority order. IT WOULD BE AWESOME if that was by a change type impact scale so that we can score against a number of criteria that we could set that then sets a priority score, but a simple Priority field would also help majorly. 3. Provide a way of filtering by Project Sponsor on the Projects page in the same way you can do it on the Portfolio page. This would allow sponsors to quickly see their projects from the whole list.   10. We would like to have Virtual as an option, as we then record the Virtual cluster on the Location field. We also link assets, but this gives us a better and quicker way of reporting on all virtual servers and via their clusters. Many thanks
  11. We need to add an additional option in the drop down list for Location Type on an Asset. Currently we have Physical, mobile-person and mobile-vehicle. How do we add to this list please?
  12. @AlexTumber while we are on the subject of owners, could we also have a owner field for contracts in the same way we have for suppliers please? Again, being able to see that and filter by it on the contract list would be great too.
  13. Would it be possible to have more information displayed in the list view of Supplier manager. We are assigning all our supplier to owners and it would be good if we could see the owner on the front view and even filter by it etc. Thanks

  15. Is it possible to include a request link in a workspace or chat within the collaboration space without needing to include the whole url. For example if I am adding to a workspace wall I might like to ask.. "Ashley, does SR00123510 relate to all the other issues" I can currently use the @ function to tag Ashley, but I cannot then 'tag' the request so that it would open if clicked on. Trying to push use of the coloration elements of the service, but without this we will be restricted. Thanks
  16. Is it possible, either within a business process or from the request directly to email a copy of the whole call in PDF to an external email address. For example, if we have an BP that assigns certain requests to one of our third parties, would it be possible to also auto email the whole request to them in PDF format. I know you can do this manually by using the print option on a request, but can it be automated? At the moment we are having to put the answers to questions from a PC into a custom field and then create an email template with the custom fields, which is extremely messy and time consuming. It would be good it this also gave you the option like you get when printing on what sections you wanted to send.
  17. Within our Force Control Room, we have a shared workspace where staff work on shifts. We have been asked if it is possible for specific incidents with hardware be shared with FCR staff so that they can see the issue without need to contact the service desk. It may get reported 1 day by someone and then they go on 4 days off. Many thanks.

  19. At the moment the default assignment in a task/activity created in project manager is to a user. We have a requirement to assign these tasks to a team so that the team manager can then assign the task to the most appropriate member. Please can you advise if this is possible or can be added as an option.

  21. Hello. I have the latest GIT hub install of goDBAssetImport. But I am also getting the same error as Joanne in a previous thread back in October, but there are no further updates. It would appear it is failing when it calls the API, with the error <userid> did not meet the required input pattern contraints The API key I am using has been created on the Admin user and is active and not expired.   23. When viewing tasks as project user, you have the ability to update the timeline as well as complete the task. If you view the same task in your My Activities list, you cannot update the timeline and when you complete the activity, the completion notes do not then show on the project task. The audit tab on the project task is also not updated. For us, this would mean all users would need a project user subscription just to update and complete tasks, which would be extremely costly. Is there any development work in place to address this, or can it be added to your list please.
