1. I'm getting a similar issue but I'm getting the data from within our instance, its being pulled from a data query in the Intelligent capture, but within the business process I'm using it to add connections, it was working only the other day, yet for some reason it's no longer working. the same information is being written to the Summary and description and is having no issue, but when trying to add the customer as a connection to the request it's just failing. <error>/apps/com.hornbill.servicemanager/entities/RequestConnections/fc_modules/request_connections_helper.js(598): error X1001: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'h_first_name' of undefined</error> just as an example to the error that I'm getting that lead me here, any help would be appreciated.
2. just to let you know this has been solved - turns out for some reason I needed to use the Owner (for tasks) field to pull the UserID
3. its at the start of both and yes all of our analysts have their information filled in correctly.
4. Hi all, Having some issues with an auto task I created, it worked previously, but after a day or so it keeps coming up with the error (pictured below) I have a get request details node right at the beginning of the process and no doesn't want to pull the request owner. an owner is assigned to the request I am using to test this auto task.
5. Yeah, I have been making sure to do that, yet it still doesn't want to work for me.
6. Hi, Has anyone had any luck getting auto task buttons to work with Assets ? I can get the same sort of buttons to work from requests and I am aware that any automation regarding assets they have to have a request linked to them (frustrating but I can work around it for the most part) when ever I try to create a button to interact with an Asset it fails to do anything at all unless I create from the request side, there are a lot of scenarios where being able to use an auto task button from a view of the asset its self would be beneficial. any success or suggestions are welcome or can we some automation brought across so that assets can be worked with from auto tasks and not have to drill down in to every menu and asset manually?
7. I hope these help, do let me know if there are any further screen shots that I can provide, in the mean time I will attempt to check my permissions within Intune
8. Hi, having an issue when trying to import Assets from Intune, been getting number of errors - most likely due to my own lack of knowledge. below is the error message that I'm getting and I'm not entirely sure where this is failing I have removed the device serial for security. any help would be greatly appreciated and I can provide screen shots of the business process to help if needed. Execution Failed: iBridge Method: /Microsoft/Intune/Get Device Details.m Error: ResourceNotFound: { "_version": 3, "Message": "An error has occurred - Operation ID (for customer support): 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 - Activity ID: b3155dda-d7d2-403a-bbd2-8b6b813694c5 - Url: https://fef.msub01.manage.microsoft.com/DeviceFE/StatelessDeviceFEService/deviceManagement/managedDevices('0000000000-iPhone')?api-version=2023-04-27", "CustomApiErrorPhrase": "", "RetryAfter": null, "ErrorSourceService": "", "HttpHeaders": "{}" }
9. Thankyou very much, I had adjusted the Task Assignment setting un-knowingly yesterday, I have set it back and all is working now
10. Hi I know I'm a little late to the party on this issue but I appear to be getting the same issue. I have attached screenshots and I have restarted the process multiple times to no avail, I have check the process and compared it to previous requests that have been through the same process in the last week and I can't see a difference in the nodes. could I have some help on this please as its preventing a lot of work from getting done happy to provide more information if needed
11. Hi, does anyone already know of or have a way of applying bulk updates to Assets ? we deal with a large number of devices and often have to order them in bulk, or will have them moved from one state / sub state to another in bulk. from our testing currently when uploading the CSV template downloaded from our environment, if we do not use validation the file will just upload duplicates, if we do use the validation it only errors and does not apply any changes to any of the assets listed.
12. okay, thanks - that helps, there will be some actions we can get to complete using those tasks. sadly not as many as we would like, but such is life.
13. I fear then that this then applies to a few of the other things I would like to do using Auto Tasks. For example, To save our analysts time I've been trying to write a Auto Task that will change the status and sub status of an asset. While we can get the process to "run" it doesn't change the status or sub status. is this for the same reason?
14. Hi, I'm looking to expand my knowledge and understanding, how are people handling disposals within Hornbill ? The team and I are looking to use an Auto Task button to start the process by changing the status and sub status of a device and from there creating a request to handle the rest of the process as we have to wait for confirmation from a 3rd party. any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated
