  1. Hi Steve, I've just asked my colleague to upload the image onto this post, but it's not working for him either. Is it possible if I could have your email address please, so I can send this over? TIA.
  2. We haven't done anything to the Used By field. We usually update the Used By Name field manually on CMDB, by removing the name on the CI record. Audit History of the CI record match with what we're experiencing, unfortunately I can't seem to upload an image onto this forum of what this looks like on our end for some reason.
  3. Good afternoon all, I make use of PowerBi to report on Service Manager calls/CI records, and noticed when looking at Assets if there was a user recorded against an CI record, and then removed, for that particular asset, UsedBy column is updated with urn:sys::::, with UsedByName still having the name of previous user recorded against e.g. Asset ID 12345 in use by Jane Smith: UsedBy: urn:sys:0:Jane Smith UsedByName: Jane Smith If Jane Smith is no longer the owner of the asset, it will then be displayed as below: UsedBy: urn:sys:::: UsedByName: Jane Smith Should the UsedByName not be blank? This currently affects the PowerBi reporting whereby you'd see a list of Assets with names recorded against them (UsedByName) but looking at the CI records, for some of them the names will not appear, indicating that they are no longer the owner. TIA.
  4. Good morning all, I'm trying to produce a report where you can see a list of requests, with linked/affected asset displayed. For content, when a user raises a call, they are presented with a number of questions, including linking the assets (recorded on CMDB as being in use by them (Used By Column)) affected relating to the call. This is what I am trying to capture in a report. At the moment, I am only able to produce report linking the request table and asset table using "Used By"/"CustomerName" as a relationship, which does not produce the desired result I need e.g. a user has 4 assets against his name, meaning the report will show a call repeating four times in the report, against the name of the 4 assets: IN00001234 - Hardware>Laptop>Broken - Joe Bloggs - MobilePhone123 IN00001234 - Hardware>Laptop>Broken - Joe Bloggs - Laptop123 IN00001234 - Hardware>Laptop>Broken - Joe Bloggs - USBStick456 IN00001234 - Hardware>Laptop>Broken - Joe Bloggs - Monitor789 IN00001235 - Hardware>Mobile Phone>Broken - Jane Smith - Mobile Phone124 IN00001236 - Hardware>Desktop>Broken - Tom Bond - Desktop890 IN00001236 - Hardware>Desktop>Broken - Tom Bond - MobilePhone125 What I need to see is this: IN00001234 - Hardware>Laptop>Broken - Joe Bloggs - Laptop123 IN00001235 - Hardware>Mobile Phone>Broken - Jane Smith - MobilePhone124 IN00001236 - Hardware>Desktop>Broken - Tom Bond - Desktop890 Is there a way of linking request table and asset table by Request ID please? I've had a look on the forums to see if anyone had the same issues as me but to no avail. I also had a look in the Question table, as well as Configuration Item Explorer tables to see if this is captured but sadly it is not there. Hope someone can help. Cheers, Claire.
  5. Morning Steve, We make use of data warehouse to pull data from Service Manager for PowerBi reporting with success, and use h_buz_activities table to display specific information not easily captured or displayed elsewhere (other tables). Unfortunately for some unknown reason, in the last few weeks, we were not able to pull data from h_buz_activities, and upon some testing, found that "updated" column no longer show data. This is currently affecting a number of reports which relies on this particular table. Cheers, Claire.
  6. Hi all, When we tried to run a report with h_buz_activities table selected on Service Manager (within Reporting area), using "updated" column to filter out the report, it would not display anything. However if we used "Published" column, it does display data. Is anyone experiencing similar issue that may be able to assist please? Cheers, Claire.
  7. Hello, Can anyone tell us which original table on Service Manager that "RaisedBy" columns resides in? I can see in the Reporting section that this can be found within Requests, but this is clearly not its rightful place. Have also had a look within the Entity Explorer, but sadly cannot find "RaisedBy" in there. Cheers, Claire.
  8. Hi Met, This worked!! I changed from Login ID to User ID in the drop down on left hand side, and it given me what I needed. Thank you! What a great start to Monday :-)
  9. Hi James - thank you for coming back to me. Unfortunately we're not able to make use of the department field within the Asset record, as it's currently not being populated/updated, which is the reason we're looking into the use of h_sys_accounts table where we can pull a report listing the laptops with the criteria of a specific department/job titles to list all of the laptops in use by a specific department/team (basing on the user name being recorded on the asset record (Used By Name)).
  10. Hi, Apologises if this is already covered elsewhere within the forums but I cannot find what I am looking for. I'm trying to produce a report linking CMDB Asset (and CMDB Computer) tables to h_sys_accounts to allow me to display a list of laptops (for example) with users allocated, and using h_sys_accounts to filter the group of users from a specific department or area. I've tried using CMDB Users to link the CMDB Asset and h_sys_accounts together but it would not work. Hope someone can help. Thank you :-)
  11. Hi all, Has anyone experienced the list of Software CIs within Assets (IT Asset Inventory) being in the wrong order alphabetically? I've tried to click on Name on the heading in both direction (A to Z, Z to A) and this made no difference - not sure why this is happening? Cheers, Claire.
  12. Hi, I wanted to ask as to whether it is possible to include hyperlinks to the Call Ref within the Widget on a Dashboard (as found within Advanced Analytics) e.g. being able to display a list of calls that are critical, and you can quickly click on the Call Ref number to take you to the actual call itself? Cheers.
  13. Hi - is there an update on this, as would be really useful to be able to show dates, rather than week numbers.
  14. @James Ainsworth Hi James - I've been asked to produce a report listing changes with assigned Activities - can you let me know which table the activities can be found in? TIA, Claire.
  15. Hi Victor - that is a shame. Is there the ability to adjust the email template somewhere so the customers can see the report comes from ICT department?
  16. Thank you Victor - we have use of PowerBi, would I be able to make use of this for what I'm trying to do?
  17. Hi, Can Hornbill please help with my query above? Thanks in advance.
  18. Hi Steve, I've tried to join Requests (h_itsm_requests) to h_buz_activities by using Left Join, and although it is displaying data within a number of columns from both tables, it is not consistent e.g. one Request ID is displayed for all of the Content Preview data from other calls. I've tried adding h_buz_activity_streams as a left join with h_buz_activities, but this does not appear to make any difference? Thanks in advance.
  19. Make sense - thank you. I came across this forum: which explains what I'd need to be able to join Request to h_buz_activities, but it's not clear how I'd need to do this using SQL Schema Designer within Reports? I was able to produce a report to join both CMDB and Request table, but I am struggling with this one. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
  20. Apologises for the delay. Within Supportworks, whatever you can see within Service Desk feature, we can run a report within Management Information and Reporting feature, and PowerBi, to include "Last Action Text" column. Within Service Manager, this does not appear to be the case - I was not able to find "Last Updated" column in order for this to be displayed within the Reports (as found in the Admin tool at Home->Applications->Service Manager->Reports) (and I presume this will be the same for PowerBi), which was why I requested for this to be included within Request List (also will greatly assist our ICT colleagues, as they relies on this in Supportworks), unless there's another way of pulling/displaying the first 255 characters of the last request timeline update? Thanks in advance.
