    Project Tasks

    Afternoon @Victorthat looks muddy. I am sure we will look like that by the end of today as well. @AlexTumberThank you, I don't think there were permissions set up on the project. So am I right in thinking that if both the engineers had been added as a resource to the project we should not have got either of these issues?
  3. Afternoon All Hope you are all safe and well and enjoying the snow. Please would it be possible to advise the working of a task within a project in Project Manager? We had an engineer that completed a task, they were able to complete the notes on the task but then did not get the Green tick button or Blue update button at the bottom of the task, the only option available was the Close button. The engineers colleague then attempted to complete the task and they got the error message "Failed to complete the project task. You must be the owner, the assignee or the Project Manager". Would this occur if neither of the engineers were set up as a resource on the task please? Thank you. Kind Regards Ann
  4. Afternoon All Hope you are safe and well. Please would it be possible to help/advise with an issue with time spent. We are currently able to link Changes, Services and Service Requests to a project via the Relationship tab, however we are not able to add Incidents, is that the correct process please? Also the changes and service requests that we link via relationships are showing as being linked to the project within Project Manager, however the change and service requests are not showing that they are linked to the project, it appears the linking is only working one way. The last issue we are having is also that the time spent on a change or service request is not linking to the overall time spent on the project, is this also the correct process please? For example, if a change was created as part of a project and the change is completed and took 4 hours, that 4 hours is then not showing on the project. Thank you. Kind Regards Ann

    Gantt Chart

    Thank you @AlexTumber. I will look at being able to drill down. By interactive we mean by being able to drag milestones points within the Gantt Chart to perhaps see how the chart then changes. Kind Regards Ann

We currently have a project that has been cancelled and will no longer be going ahead, however when trying to cancel in Project Manager we are getting the below error message. We have completed the milestones but there are still 31 tasks that are not complete. Do we have to complete all 31 tasks as well, or should we be able to cancel the project at any point? Thank you.   15. Thank you Alex. I mean, within Project manager, when creating a task for example for a third party to complete work is there a way of emailing a copy of the task details to the third party? Or would we need to do this manually please? I hope that makes sense. Kind Regards Ann

  19. Morning All Hope you are safe and well. How can I tell how much time has been put against a request please? There used to be a little box on the side of the request that showed how much time had been spent, however this is now gone. Please would it be possible to advise how we can now find this out and if the little box is supposed to be missing? Thank you. Kind Regards Ann
  20. Afternoon Conor We currently do not have an active sub status, please can you confirm that we need to create one? There doesn’t appear to be a way currently to remove a sub-status so that the call essentially returns to its original logged state. We can add additional sub-status if that is required? Thank you.   22. Morning All Hope you are safe and well. Please would it be possible to help/advise? We cannot see how to close or end a supplier event. When raised via the sub-status change on an incident the event is triggered for the supplier, but there appears to be no way to end the event. The option is greyed out on the event via the supplier and there is not correlation to the incident being resolved etc. Thank you. Kind Regards Ann

It has just come to light that we may have also logged a job with yourselves back in 2019 for this (we have the reference if required), are you able to advise if the reference is still open or if the two can be combined?
