  1. Hello, Is there an ETA for the formal communications on this INSIGHTS 2018 event? The sooner I can get something in our Calendars, the more chance for more of us from my team to attend Thanks, Samuel
  2. Hi @Daniel Dekel, Will these changes to the Activities this allow us to read "Completed" checklist items via the Business Process? (decision nodes) Thanks, Samuel
  3. @dwalby, You seem to be needing something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/COUCHMASTER®-Ergonomic-support-including-cushion/dp/B00CCHRJ2Q/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1522857636&sr=8-4&keywords=gaming+lapboard Though I would definately not recommend the TV, you are missing out on the pure smoothness of a high refresh rate and G-SYNC (or in your case it would be FreeSync) with a good 1440p minium Monitor. Once i went to 144hz and 1440p, I've decided to never go to any lower Refresh Rate ever. (This might be why i'm not using my PS4 much... though I still use PSVR from time to time) Unless your TV is capable of those refresh rates... then it's time for me to investigate more. Fornite, no!! But to each their own...In my case, I went to PUBG then tried Fornite for about a week and went straight back to PUBG again after removing Fornite. You should give PUBG a go if you've not had the opportunity yet, and if you can... though it's still expensive, maybe someone you know has it so you can give it a try? This made me laugh but to be honest I do not know much about TV's so am not sure what it's capable of (beside the obvious 4K). Samuel
  4. Thanks @James Ainsworth, I had an inkling... and not sure why.
  5. Hi, Can I request some addtional fields to be used for the Software Asset Class: Licence Key Registered Email Address Registered Name Licence Start Date Licence Expiry Date Licence Renewal Date Licence Type (Single User Licence, Named User Licence, Concurrent Licence, Per Device Licence, Optimizational based Licence, Transactional based Licence, Subscription based Licence) Licence Cost It would be handy to be able to... Add multiple users as the "Owners" or "Used By" fields if the Licence is "Concurrent" Other people may have other ideas. Thanks, Samuel
  6. Hi Pamela, Many thanks - I have logged this using the Support Form. Samuel
  7. Hi @Miro, Despite how I worded it all (i've just re-read it and I made hardly any sense), what you've said basically sums up this request. Yes to be able to give us and other Hornbill users flexibility to set constraints on the date picker in the Custom forms. In one our cases, New Starters must start 5 days or after in order for us to be able to set them up with Equipment and Access in time. Should a user choose a date less than 5 days, it is extremely likely that nothing will be ready for them in time. I think it's important for users to be able to specify which calendar they would use, as some organisations work 24/7, others work Monday to Friday, and I would guess maybe some have other types of working hours. Thanks, Samuel
  8. Hi Pamela, Apologies I believed that the Auto Routing Rule template uses the Catalog (which has PC) but only uses the forms which can be automated, such as pre-populating the customer field. So it appears to be option 1, the Contact is not being set up as the Customer against a request, despite the email Address being the same as the Contact Email address in Hornbill. Thanks, Samuel Edit: I'm due to upgrade Hornbill tonight to the latest version of Service Manager so will see if this is still an issue afterwards.
  9. Hi, We have the need for the user to choose a date in the future, with the dates available to be selected in the list to be a minimum of 5 work days from now, or beyond. We have customers choosing "todays" date therefore causing issues, in particular with New Starter Requests. Can I request there be an option to set the minimum number of days after "todays" date that can be selected? And if we can have the option to use the Working Day calendar or not too that would be great. Despite having information on the Progressive Capture form, that a date needs to be set a minimum of 5 working days or beyond, users are still not complying with the rule therefore we need the option to force it on them. Thanks, Samuel
  10. Hi, So far i've resorted to uploading to a OneDrive folder which everyone can access. It's not ideal as users have to be logged in to Office 365 to be able to see the images. If there was a solution much like what's used on the forums, this would be perfect. Thanks, Samuel
  11. Just noticed this post, regarding the table formatting, I already raised something on the forums about this in the beginning of March:
  12. Hello, This may have been raised before... I have an auto-routing rule which generates a ticket from an email we received from another Council. The contact at this council is set up as a Contact record in Hornbill. The ticket is generated successfully, but the Contact is not set against the ticket's Customer. I have a node in the progressive capture to capture the Customer form. IF customer ID is not set then a branch will go to the Contact form... otherwise no match and carry on to the next node... this works for the standard customers but not for Contacts. Any idea what and how I might be able to get around making this happen? Thanks, Samuel
  13. hi @William Ansah, There is a post for this issue already, looks like Hornbill is working on it. Thanks, Samuel
  14. +1 for this, Wiki Markup seems to be very powerful. Being able to include paragraphs in bullets (or even manual lines such as @Dan Munns example) would be a great addition.
  15. Does this help to visualise what I mean?
  16. @Dan Munns Thanks for that, but it doesn't work if I need to show the paragraphs within the bullets Samuel
  17. Hello, Is it possible to do Line Breaks within Wiki Markup Bullets? I need to keep the structure of the text in the Bullets, but have line breaks between paragraphs within the bullets... Is this possible? I did try to use \n \n but it doesnt work Thanks, Samuel
  18. Hi, I would like to request a feature that I would call "Smart" Snippet Variables... for lack of a better name. Basically when you create a snippet, you can choose from the list of Variables to automatically pull through certain parts of the call. How about creating a new set of Variables which will look at anything linked to the ticket? For example... Within the Variable screen we can choose the "Asset" variable When you choose this, you will be prompted to choose which Class and which Type you want to pull through automatically. When you use this Snippet in future emails... IF the ticket has a single Asset linked to it, of said Class and Type, then pull in the Asset Name in automatically OR if the ticket has MULTIPLE Assets linked to it, of said Class and Type then prompt the user to choose which one they are referring to (with also including the option of being able to add in another asset, which will automatically link it to the request - another way of forcing Assets to be linked to tickets) When viewing the Asset variable in the email template after insertion, it may look something like (examples) - {{Asset_Name|Computer|Laptop}} - {{Asset_Serial_No|Computer|Laptop}} - {{Asset_Owned_By|Computer|Desktop}} - {{Asset_Supplier|Software|Business Critical Applications}} This can be extended to Connections as well. And maybe also pull in the details of the Customer's manager too. Many thanks, Samuel
  19. And me! Though I think there was another post like this or similar to this and i may already be added to the change...
  20. @Gerry and @James Ainsworth, Many thanks for this, much appreciated. Samuel
  21. Well for instance we would need information for the following fields (some fields are already a part of Hornbill): - Description - Manufacturer - Type (On-premise Server, Cloud Server, Switch, Router etc. - These would be Asset Types under the Server Class) - Serial Number - Asset Tag - Physical Location - Room - Rack / Cage number - Host Name (wdc-tsmon01) - Private IP Address - Public IP Address - Public URL (If any) - Proxy Server - Server Type (in-house, cloud) - Monitored? (Yes, No) - Monitoring Software - Company / Owner - Contact Information - Operating System - Server Environment (Live, Test, Development, Production etc) There are possibly more that can be added though... The reason why I mentioned it really is so that we can drill down into different server types, under the "Server" class to keep everything more contained. But as I say I am probably going overkill with this idea, especially if these can possibly fit under the "Computer" class anyway, maybe have a new region in the Computer Class Asset Details, with a title appropriate for Server related information only which we can hide for the other Asset Types. Thanks, Samuel
  22. Is there any potential for "Server" to be an individual class as well? We currently use them against the Computer class, but they can be much more than that? Maybe i'm just overthinking things...
